Our mission is to expand our 200-year legacy of faith, justice, perseverance, and Black excellence by vibrantly worshipping and spreading the liberating Gospel of Jesus Christ; empowering and equipping every generation to serve the spiritual and physical needs of our church and community.

Under new leadership Greater Mount Zion has an audacious vision to make thousands of disciples through thriving ministries that move people from lament to liberation, poverty to prosperity, and despair to joy, through relevant preaching, powerful inspiring worship, foundational Black history and justice centered ministries of health equity, economic empowerment, violence interruption, and educational excellence.
